IMBEL, M973

The Imbel M973 is a Brazilian copy of the Colt M1911 pistol made by Industria de Material Bélico do Brasil (Imbel), produced in .45 ACP calibre since 1973, 9mm Parabellum and since 1990 also in .38 Super Auto calibre. The M973 9mm Pistol is the weapon in use with the Brazilian Army currently.
