This is a peculiar weapon which resembles an over-grown automatic pistol. Instead of a bolt moving inside the receiver, it uses a moving slide, just like a pistol. The lower portion of the slide is extended beneath the muzzle to act as a compensator, deflecting the muzzle gases upwards to counteract the natural rise of the weapon when firing automatic. It is almost impossible to make accurate aimed automatic fire since the slide and sights are constantly moving during firing.
